What Kind of Vaccine Proof Are you Accepting
Any form of physical card or digital card will be accepted as proof of vaccine. Many states provide a free website where you can download your digital vaccine card for free. (eg. California Digital Vaccine Card).
What Kind of Negative Test is Acceptable
Any Rapid Covid Test will be accepted as proof of negative. Please make sure test was taken no more than 72 hours from your check-in day.
Will I Need to Show Proof EVERYDAY?
All attendees, vendors, guests.. will need to show proof ONCE. You will be given a plastic wristband that shows you have been checked which will stay valid during the entire duration of the show.
Do You Accept International Proof of Vaccine
Yes, all International Vaccination Cards will be accepted as Proof of Vaccine.
What Other Safety Measures are Being Taken
DesignerCon and The Anaheim Convention Center has implemented multiple safety per-cautions in order to provide a safe space for the show. Some of these include GBAC Star Accreditation, added Air Quality Ventilation, added Hand Sanitizing Stations and more. Will There Be On-Site Rapid Testing
Yes! DesignerCon has teamed up with a mobile testing facility to provide attendees the ability to take a Rapid Test at the convention center. Rapid tests usually take 15 minutes for results and there is a fee associated to the test.
Are There Testing Facilities I Can Visit BEFORE the Show
Yes! The city of Anaheim provides multiple testing facilities around the convention center. Each one has different pricing and accomodations. For the full list of these facilities please visit the Visit Anaheim Testing Sites website.
What is the Mask Policy for DesignerCon
DesignerCon is following mask mandates enforced by the state of CA and the Anaheim Convention Center. While inside the convention non-vaccinated visitors are required to wear a mask. Masks must fit properly and snuggly, fully covering your nose and mouth, and secure under your chin. Bandanas, neck coverings, cosplay masks and mash masks are not considered approved face coverings. By attending DesignerCon, you acknowledge this inherent risk and, as a condition of entering DesignerCon, you acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:

For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who is under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending DesignerCon who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor.
Please do not enter DesignerCon or the Anaheim Convention Center if you cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during your time at DesignerCon you do not meet all of the above criteria, you will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave Anaheim Convention Center at the sole discretion of event management.
Please note: The guidelines in this document are based on information currently available regarding the behavior and characteristics of the COVID-19 virus, public health information and local or state guidelines with respect to large gatherings in any particular community.
